On Friday 18 May, took place at the facilities of PLOCAN-the oceanographic platform of the Canary Islands-(http://plocan.eu/index.php/es/) A meeting to follow up the activities envisaged among the entities members of the project ECOMARPORT. The meeting brought together representatives of the Port Authority of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (http://www.palmasport.es/), PLOCAN, and the research group Technologies, management and environmental bichemistry (TGBA; http://tecnobioambiental.ulpgc.es/) of the ULPGC .
This meeting is part of the coordination processes established for the ECOMARPORT project. The state of execution of the tasks concerning the monitoring planned for the port of Las Palmas was analyzed jointly. The proposals and strategies of the work envisaged in the next six months were established.
